Sherry Keane is born on Treaty 5 territories in The Pas, northern Manitoba. Growing up in the forestry industry, she worked in the Vanderhoof and Fort St. John sawmills.
After University, Sherry followed her heart into the field of social services working as an addictions and life skills counsellor, providing support to youth experiencing homelessness and addictions. Her love for travel moved her to Costa Rica, England, and then Ireland, where she helped develop a technology start-up company emerge from the ground up. Customer acquisition, business development, HR, scheduling staff, customer service and marketing are just a few of the areas she worked in.
Most recently, her love and passion for interior design collided with helping people feel a sense of belonging in their own homes. Her versatile business skills, design flare, and drive to help people; make her a perfect fit for the homeD team.
She holds a BA of Arts (Sociology) from the University of Victoria and a Higher National Diploma in Interior Design. Sherry has two children, a dog and a cat. She spends her time relaxing on the north shore mountains hiking, skiing, camping, fishing and playing tennis.
